 Oracle Inventory provides three types of move orderMove Order Types

1.Move Order Requisition

2.Move Order Replenishment

3. Pick Wave Move Order 

4. Manufacturing Component Pick

Created Manually and Approval done manually to perform stock issue and stock transfers.

1.1 Move Order Transfer

Move order transfers are used to transfer stock from source subinventory to destination subinventory.

Below are the key features of Move Order transfer.

1. Move Order has reference number for your transactions.

2. Can set one level of approval for the move order transfer

3. Material allocation/ reservation can be performed.

4. Move Order Creation and transaction can be done by different users.

Enter the mandatory information such as Item,Quantity,source and destination subinventoryApprove the Move OrderNavigate to Transact move order for allocation/reservationClick on AllocateClick on view / Update Allocations to view the allocated quantity details

Click on Transact and the material will be transferred.

1.2. Move Order Issue

Move Order issue basically refers to issue a material to a GL account.

Select the transaction type as Move Order issue and enter the mandatory information's such as Item,Quantity,Source subinventory and locator details

Click on "Approve"

Navigate to Transact Move Order Form for allocation/reservation

Click on View/Update allocation to view the allocated information.

Click on Transact material will be issued.

2.Move Order Replenishment

The Replenishment Move Order is created by Oracle Inventory through any of the following replenishment planning methods:

Min-Max planning

Replenishment counting

Kanban replenishment

Pre-approved move orders are created to source material from one location to another within the same inventory organization.....more

3. Pick Wave Move Order 

Created by Sales Order Release Transaction and it will be in pre approved status. Created to move the stock to staging sub inventory...more
