Item revisions are used when you have made minor changes to your item but you have decided not to change the item number. You can optionally use the revisions to segregate the onhand quantities / purchases by the revision.
Revision Control Setup @ Item Level
1. Enable Revision in Item Attribute
2. Create Revision in Item Organization

Create purchase order by selecting the revisions
