     1.Formulas are the Composition of the Items given as Input and the Items coming out of a batch

     2.The Formula in OPM allows By Product Recovery as well as Co- Product Recovery. 

     3.In case of Co-Product Recovery, the, the cost of the Co- Product will automatically be calculated based on the Cost Allocation factor. The Co- Product can be Included in the Product Tab Itself.

     4.Thus the Formula Contains the End Product and the quantity produced, the Ingredients and their quantity required to produce the quantity of the finished goods, and also the quantity of By Products or Co-Products recovered, if any.

     5.All the formulas, Operations, Routings, Recipe and Validity Rules should be in the “APPROVED FOR GENERAL USE: status to be used for Batch Production.

   

    Ingredient Consumption Types:

a  

   1. If it’s Automatic – As soon as the batch release (Ingredient Issue) stock will be consumed

   2. If it’s Manual -we have to consume using the transact material button

   3. It it’s Automatic by Step – As soon as the step is released stock will be consumed.
