  Discount -Incompatibility Group

Scenario 1 :

1. Different Incompatibility Group with Different Discount

Set the incompatibility group. Set the Volume Type, Break Type.

Provide the discount charges against each line.

Now we have 2 group of incompatibility modifiers . A list of modifiers which has same pricing phase and same modifiers  they are called group of incompatible modifiers.

For every incompatible group only one modifier will be applied to the sales order.

Transaction Process Flow

Create the Sales Order

Once you save the order modifier will take into effect.

Click view actions to view the modifiers applied to the sales order.

Output

1st it wont check precedence , it check the best percentage and the same will be applied

Next only it check for precedence if all the percentage is same. 

Here from 2 incompatible group the one which has high amount of discount is choose from incompatibility each group.

Once we have incompatibility issue based on best price that case it will check the precedence . Lower precedence is the higher priority.

Scenario 2 : 

2. Different Incompatibility Group with Same Discount

Enter the precedence. Higher the precedence will be considered incase the discount is same of Incompatibility group

Enter the same discount for each incompatibility group

Transaction Process Flow

Enter the sales order and click on save

Modifier got applied 

Output

The higher precedence is considered for the discount when the discount is same for the Incompatibility group.

Scenario 3

3. Same Pricing Phase and Different Incompatibility Group with Same Discount

In the below example for every Incompatibility group one will get applied . And the free group also will be applied along with the group.

Enter the Precedence

Enter the discount percentage.

Transaction Process Flow

Create the sales order. Save the transaction.

Click on Actions to view the Modifiers got applied.

Output

In the above scenario 3 modifier lines got applied.

1. One from Level1 Incompatibility - As the discount was same next it checked the higher precedence record and got applied.

2. Another from Level2 Incompatibility- The discount got applied directly as there was only 1 record.

3. Another from free group without any value set in Incompatibility- The discount got applied directly.

Scenario 4

4.  Exclusive Incompatibility Group

Here we have 2 incompatible group and 1 exclusive group . So only the exclusive group will be applied.

Transaction Process Flow

Create the sales order and click on save

Click on Actions to view the modifier got applied.

Output

Only one modifier is applied which is exclusive group. If there are multiple groups only the exclusive group will be applied.

Scenario 5

5.  Exclusive & Free Incompatibility Group

Even in the below screen shot only exclusive group will be applied though we have free incompatible group  for the same pricing phase.

Scenario 6

6.  Different Pricing Phase & Exclusive  Incompatibility Group

For a given pricing phase if you have exclusive group only that will be applied but if we have 2 pricing phase then they are totally different . 

For every pricing phase if you have an exclusive group only that modifier will be applied for that pricing phase. For every group no of incompatible may be many .

Transaction Process Flow

Create and save the sales order.

Click on Actions> View Adjustments to check the modifier got applied.

Output

1. We had 2 pricing phase 

2. Among the 1st Pricing phase - 1 Modifier got applied as it was single record.

3. Among the 2nd Pricing phase - Only exclusive group got applied.

Scenario 7

7.  Different Pricing Phase &2 Exclusive  Incompatibility Group

Two modifier lines will get applied one from same Pricing phase & Exclusive Group combination and another from the difference pricing phase.

Set the precedence

Set the discount percentage

Transaction Process Flow

Create and save the sales order

Click on view actions to check the modifier got applied.

Output

1. Two modifier lines got applied from each pricing phase

2.  One from 1st Pricing phase

3. Among the 2nd pricing phase system will consider the 

      3.1  Check if there is exclusive group to get that applied 

      3.2  If there is two exclusive group then system check the  highest discount which one is providing.

      3.3.  Incase if the discount is same only then it will check the higher precedence for applying the modifier line . Here the best price is considered as the discount value was not same.
